Zmajeva spilja (The Dragon’s cave) is located near village of Murvica, about seven kilometers from Bol. It is called The Dragon’s cave because of the relief of Dragon in it. Cave is 20 meters long and divided into four halls. Its reliefs and monument describe the monastic life of Glagolitic priests in the 15th century.

KRIZNA CAVE

Krizna cave is known to the world due to its underground lakes. There are 22 lakes in the cave, which can be crossed by a boat, but if we also count in the smaller lakes of Blatnikov rov, the number rises to 45.


BLED

BABJI ZOB CAVE

This approximately 300 m long cave is adorned with beautiful stalactite formations. A special feature of this cave is spiral stalactites, so-called helectites, and large calcite crystals which are rear in Slovenia.
